The GAPS Trailblazers are a dedicated team of ambassadors who help advance the mission of Georgetown Area Parkinson's Support by inspiring hope, raising awareness, strengthening community, and encouraging generosity. As trusted advocates, Trailblazers share the GAPS story through their personal connections, invite others into the mission, promote events and programs, and help ensure that no one facing Parkinson's walks the journey alone. Together, they extend the reach of GAPS far beyond what staff and board members could accomplish on their own.
Being a Trailblazer is both an opportunity to serve and to grow. Members become part of a passionate leadership community that receives regular updates on GAPS, connects with staff and board members through quarterly gatherings, and helps shape the organization's future. By sharing their time, talents, relationships, and generosity, Trailblazers play a vital role in expanding awareness, building lasting support, and ensuring that more individuals and families affected by Parkinson's experience hope, belonging, and encouragement.
