The GAPS Gala is the inaugural signature fundraising event hosted by Georgetown Area Parkinson’s Support (GAPS). This special evening will bring together individuals, families, care partners, and community supporters to celebrate hope, resilience, and progress in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Guests will enjoy dinner, entertainment, stories of strength from the GAPS community, and an opportunity to support programs that directly benefit those living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones in our community.

The GAPS Gala is for everyone who cares about making life brighter for people living with Parkinson’s disease. It’s for individuals and families in our Parkinson’s community, their friends and care partners, and the neighbors, businesses, and supporters who want to stand alongside them.

As an organization, GAPS celebrates families and encourages family participation at our monthly Social Series and Gathering Series events. However, the GAPS Gala is designed as an adult-focused evening, so we kindly ask that small children not attend. This allows all guest to fully enjoy the dinner, program, and entertainment and we very much appreciate your understanding.

The GAPS Gala is a special evening to celebrate our Parkinson’s community, and we invite guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire if they’d like. Most importantly, we want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and able to enjoy the evening - whether that means a favorite dress, a nice shirt and slacks, or whatever feels right for you. This is an evening to celebrate together, so wear what makes you feel your best!

The GAPS Gala is free to attend! While there is no cost to attend, we do ask that guests reserve their spot in advance so we can plan for seating, dinner, and a wonderful evening together. Reservations can be made by using this RSVP FORM. Please note that while attendance is complimentary, there will be a formal opportunity at the end of the evening to make a gift in support of GAPS and the programs that serve our community.

Yes, we kindly ask that all guests RSVP by Wednesday, November 5th so we can finalize the plans for seating, dinner, and a smooth check-in process. Space will be limited, so we encourage you to reserve your seats early to ensure your place at this special evening.

Yes! We welcome group reservations for the GAPS Gala and we’d also love to connect with you about becoming a GAPS Trailblazer. If you’d like to reserve a table for family, friends, or colleagues, please complete the RSVP form and include each guest at your table. This will help ensure that your entire group can be seated together.
